Yes, believe it or not April has been designated as National Care Care month. So what is it all about?
According to the Car Care Council, nearly 80% of vehicles when inspected are found to be in need of some sort of maintenance or repair. April has been chosen as a reminder to take action before the hot summer months arrive so you can depend on your car.
Some of the more common things found during inspections include low fluid levels, clogged or dirty air filters, illuminated check engine lights, worn belts and battery service needed. These are all simple services that will generally cost very little to remedy but if let go can cause some serious (and expensive) headaches.
It’s easy to postpone vehicle maintenance when things get busy, but don’t put it off. So if you haven’t already, give a thought to preparing your vehicle for the Summer ahead. As the Car Care Council says it’s time to “Be Car Care Aware”.
